 1. Scope of application 

The General Terms and Conditions apply to contractual relationships between dean&david Switzerland and its customers. This includes all stores of dean&david Switzerland, as well as the online ordering portal. 

A contract is concluded upon confirmation of an order, this can be done verbally or in writing. The following general terms and conditions are an integral part of all contracts. 

2. Number of persons 

We can accept a reduction of the number of people of up to 10% up to two working days before the event without any cost consequences. Reductions in the number of persons of more than 10% or at a later date are considered cancellation and will be charged in accordance with point 3. Additional persons will be charged according to confirmation. 

3. Catering 

In addition to the F&B turnover, we charge an hourly rate of CHF 60.00 for catering. We calculate the required number of employees based on the number of persons registered: 

Up to 20 people: 1 employee 

21-40 persons: 2 employees 

41-100 persons: 3 employees 

Caterings without accompanying employees will be charged with 2.6% VAT, with the accompaniment of an employee with 8.1% VAT. 

The delivery costs, within our delivery area, are included in the price. The areas outside our delivery area are calculated individually. 

The cleaning of the gastronomic inventory and the material is carried out by dean&david Schweiz GmbH. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for cleaning the location & disposal. 

If you bring your own wine we will charge an bottle-fee for the price of CHF 35.00 per bottle. 

4. Cancellation of events 

In case of cancellation of the order, the following costs will be charged: 

– More than 14 working days before the start of the event: no offsetting of costs 

– 7-14 working days before the start of the event: Expenses already incurred (maximum 25% of the catering service) 

– 2-6 working days before the start of the event: Expenses already incurred (maximum 50% of the catering service) 

– One working day before the start of the event or on the day of the event: Expenses already incurred (up to 100% of the catering service) 

In the event of force majeure (fire, strike, etc.) or other circumstances for which dean&david Switzerland is not responsible, we reserve the right to change the venue or withdraw from the contract. The customer is not entitled to damages. 

5. Terms of payment 

When paying against invoice, there is a payment period of 14 days. Other payment terms or methods may be agreed in writing. Invoicing is possible from a total of CHF 100.00. Lower amounts can only be paid on site in the store, in cash or by card. 

6. Minimum order quantity 

Caterings are carried out from 10 people. When picking up in the store, catering is also possible for fewer people.
